Good teeth impressions are the most important factor!
To achieve the best fit for your customised gold grillz, it is highly recommended that you come into the shop and let our staff help you with the job. A number of our clients have purchased 2-3 kits trying to get their impressions right, so it is advised that you come to the shop and let the professionals help you. A £30 train ticket to Birmingham is cheaper than £50 spent in mould kits.
However, you can order your own mould kit and take your impression from home. The moulding kit gives you enough material for two attempts. Most companies charge £30 just for one try.

Great! You've got the mould kit. Here are the instructions:
Read all instructions before giving it a go.
- Divide the white putty into two equal parts
- Divide the opposite colour putty into two equal parts
- Take one white and one opposite colour putty and knead them together until the putty turns to one colour
Note: work quickly as the formula starts to set when colours are mixed. Up to 15 seconds.
- Place the putty into the tray. If you are only having side teeth done, then focus on placing the putty on that side of the tray
Note: Do not spread the putty over the entire tray, just place it in the front of tray.
- Open your mouth and insert the tray (do not bite)
- Lift your lip and align your teeth so that they are on the putty in the centre (this gives you the ability to see the entry point for your teeth before making the impression)
- Once your teeth are aligned, bite down in one clean motion
- Pull your lip over the front of the tray and keep your mouth fairly closed for 4 minutes
- After 4 minutes, give the tray a few tugs and it will come out
- Keep the putty in the tray and drizzle cold water on your impression
